Alix Edwards is a writer and visual artist who  uses fiction, spoken word, painting and photography to tell untold stories about motherhood, loss, resilience and hope.

Her work gives a voice to primarily to women and children who society has failed or not listened to. It also adds life, energy and emotion to statistics.  

 'Bodyflow2'' from the series 'Bodyflow' which restore's the human body's life and energy to medical imaging   


Alix has an MA in Creative Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London and graduated in MA photography from Central Saint Martin's in 2016.

She is currently researching the fate of 'fallen women' in Wales with the support of Arts Council Wales. She runs workshops and Open Mic and Guest event Company of Words in Cardiff.

Alix Edwards also performs her own stories and poems, facilitates community projects and undertakes commissions in writing, painting and photography.  

'Cupcake' from the series '29' remembers children murdered  during  court-ordered contact in England & Wales 2004-2011.
