Alix Edwards: (artography) writer, visual artist and spoken word

Alix Edwards is a writer and visual artist who  uses fiction, spoken word, painting and photography to tell stories about motherhood, loss, resilience and hope.

Her work gives a voice to primarily to women and children who society has failed or not listened to. It also adds life, energy and emotion to statistics.  

 'Bodyflow2'' from the series 'Bodyflow' which restore's the human body's life and energy to medical imaging   


Alix has an MA in Creative Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London and graduated in MA photography from Central Saint Martin's in 2016.

She runs workshops and Open Mic and Guest event Company of Words in Cardiff.

Alix Edwards also performs spoken word, undertakes community projects and commissions in writing, painting and photography.  


Cupcake' from the series '29 which remembers the 29 children murdered by their fathers during  court-ordered contact visits in England and Wales 2004-2011.
